Here’s what you can expect during 2020 at the Disneyland Resort:

• January - Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens January 17, 2020 at Disneyland Park in Galaxy’s edge. This all-new ride invites you to live your own Star Wars story and experience multiple ride systems and scenes. January 17, 2020 in Disney California Adventure Park marks the start of Lunar New Year. Mulan and friends celebrate the Year of the Mouse with unique, Asian-inspired menu items, themed decor and limited-time entertainment. Lunar New Year is celebrated through February 9, 2020.

• February - The new Magic Happens parade strolls through Disneyland Park beginning February 28, 2020. Over in Disney California Adventure Park, the Disney Food and Wine Festival begins February 28 and runs through April 21, 2020. This event features local California flavors as well as menu items inspired from places around the world. 

• April - Disney Food and Wine Festival continues until the 21st of April. Easter includes a scavenger hunt.

• May - Grad Nites begin at Disneyland Park, and they’re hosted on select nights: May 10, 11, 17, 18, 21, 22, 28, 29, and 31.

• June - Grad Nites continue at Disneyland Park, on select nights: June 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 14.

• July - Summer hours are in full swing, and fireworks shows can be enjoyed weather permitting. Disneyland also celebrates the 4th of July, and Disneyland’s birthday on July 17, 2020.

• August - Disney hasn’t released an exact open date, but Avengers Campus debuts at Disney California Adventure Park summer 2020. Phase 1 includes a new Spider-Man ride, Avengers-themed merchandise and Pym Test Kitchen, an Ant-Man themed eatery.

• September - Halloween Time begins in the Disneyland Resort, with Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party hosted on select nights in Disney California Adventure Park.

• October - Halloween Time continues until October 31, as does Oogie Boogie Bash on select nights.

• November - Holidays at the Disneyland Resort begin in November at both Parks.

• December - Holidays at the Disneyland Resort continue through the end of the month.
