Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party

Disney is my happy place. But holidays make everything even better. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is back this year and it was my first time exploring it. This special event takes place select nights November 8 to December 22, 2022. This is a limited ticketed event so you have to buy your tickets beforehand.

The party is between 7 to 12 but party ticket holders can enter the park from 4pm and enjoy the parks till the other guests are escorted out starting 6pm. The festivities begin at 7 with special layouts in select rides, special shows, parade and fireworks. You also get a collectible ornament as you enter the park and a poster while leaving. The delicious cookie and beverages (hot cocoa, eggnog and apple cider) makes it all even more fun.

Immerse yourself in holiday magic sprinkled throughout the park.
Have a holly jolly evening as you experience yuletide joy at Magic Kingdom park!

Highlights include:

Snow on Main Street, U.S.A.
As you begin your walk down Main Street, U.S.A., you just may notice a flurry of “snow” setting the perfect holiday scene!

Seasonal Décor
Be on the lookout for holiday decorations like bows, wreaths, holly and lights throughout the park.

Cookies and Cocoa
Satisfy your sweet tooth with holiday treats offered throughout the park. Cookies and cocoa are available to Guests at designated locations for no additional charge.

Gather around the parade route––with viewing spots in Frontierland, Liberty Square and Main Street, U.S.A.––to see gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers and beloved Disney Characters.

Bust a move during a mega fun dance party at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.
Get ready—this is your chance to dance the night away with holiday friends all night long in Tomorrowland!

Snap a pic with Disney pals who are out celebrating the season.

As you explore Magic Kingdom park, be on the lookout for Disney Characters decked out in their holiday best.

Tips -

* To make the most out of your day, grab something from the quick eateries, or have a heavy late lunch or maybe bring some food along (outside food is allowed in Disney parks). Once the party starts you can get free cookies and beverages like hot cocoa, eggnog or apple cider which fills you up.

* Do not try to run around the park with rides in different lands. Do rides which are near each other. Wait times are generally very low and sometimes even lower then stated.

* Do rides during the first parade timeas the wait time will be low and you can catch the parade later in the night.

* Make amazing memories. You cannot do everything so try making a list of MUST dos and try to cover them first. Anything additional will be a bonus.
